This project involved the implosion, processing and recycling of a 277’ tall high voltage tower. Challenges of the project included gaining access to the tower, which was located on an island, and safely mobilizing equipment and personnel to work in a tidally-influenced area with soft ground conditions. Coordination between numerous regulatory agencies was required in order to successfully complete the project.
