Silverado Contractors was contracted to complete the asbestos abatement and demolition of the 1951 58-foot, 11-story flight air traffic control tower and office block located at the San Francisco International Airport Terminal 2. The structure being removed was an eleven-story flight control tower structure. The Departure and Arrivals Level in Terminal 2 remained active during the course of demolition.
