Paragon was a new construction project in Sunnyvale to build a state-of-the-art chip manufacturing research facility. Silverado’s original scope consisted of demolition of a 340,000 SF, five-story post-tensioned parking garage, crushing of 30,000 tons of concrete, tree removal and hardscape demolition across almost 700,000 SF of site, removal and salvaging of 3,200 solar panels, and utility disconnect work. Change order work was added and included abatement and demolition of an additional three buildings on an adjacent parcel, removal of 70 underground concrete piers and piles, installation of temporary retaining walls, and miscellaneous utility work. We also contracted to provide craneway and drive path maintenance work for one year during remaining construction activities onsite.
