Building 643 was originally two airplane hangers on the old Chrissy Field, built in the 1920s. During WW2 a center office building was built between the hangers and it became a maintenance and storage facility for the airfield.

Silverado's scope was to remove all the interior improvements and exterior shell hollow clay tile walls. All this was for a historic renovation of the building that including all new utilities, foundation upgrades and stripping the steel columns and roof truss structure for strengthening and refinishing.
