Grayson Generating Station consists of Units 1-5 and Unit 8. Units 1-5 were gas/oil-fired boilers and Unit 8 consisted of 3 gas turbines and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG’s), which were all constructed between 1940 and 1985. The boilers were supported by Cooling Towers 1-5 and the Water Treatment area. The boilers fed power to the Glendale Rack Switchyard. The project is located in Glendale Water & Power Utility Operations Center (UOC).
