This is the fourth ride demolition Silverado has performed for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom located in Vallejo California. The Dare Devil was a 72’tall circular roller coaster that first opened in 2015. Silverado was contracted by the Six Flags Park facilities department to remove the structure to allow for a new ride installation. The work consisted of removing the steel structure and associated concrete walkways. Silverado subcontracted Bigge Crane to assist with the demolition which consisted of torch-cutting sections and lowering them to the ground and off-hauling for recycling. Our work was completed successfully and safely in 5 working days.
