City of Hayward contracted Silverado Contractors to perform the abatement and demolition of Hayward City Center. An 11-story steel reinforced concrete structure and associated foundations including the top 5 feet of concrete caissons.

The project scope included demolition of all exterior and interior materials of the building. This included (not limited to) mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as existing elevators, hoistways, steel stairs, adjacent paved surfaces and landscaping.

Hayward City Center was in close proximity to the public and traffic along Civic Center Drive.
