Silverado Contractors was contracted to perform the tenant improvement demolition for The Assembly project, which included three commercial office buildings in San Jose totaling approximately 200,000 square feet. The scope involved selective interior, roof, and exterior demolition across all buildings and the surrounding site. Using a crane, Silverado removed rooftop HVAC units and manually stripped the roofing membrane and sheathing from two of the buildings.

Exterior demolition included the removal of buttresses, stairs, brick pavers, and loading docks. Inside the main building, Silverado created space for a new grand entrance by saw-cutting and removing sections of the interior slab, chipping back existing structural columns, and removing large glass skylights. The project required detailed planning and execution to support the transformation of the site into a modernized commercial campus.
