Silverado was hired by Dutra Construction to perform the emergency demolition work of the AMPORTS Benicia wharf that caught fire on April 9, 2022. Our scope of work included the complete removal and disposal of the entire 950’ timber apron and trestle structure including all pilings, and the selective demolition of the damaged ship loader foundations. The demolition work allowed Dutra Construction to come in and install temporary dock repairs so the facility can resume operations at the Petroleum Coke export dock.
